Smoooth System Requirements:
- Operating system: Windows 2000 or XP
- Monitor/Display: 32-bit color (required)
- Memory: 128 MB (recommended)
- Processor Speed: 500 MHz (recommended)
- Storage: 20 MB (minimum)
Known issues:
Pacer does not display
Color setting too low
Smoooth uses advanced graphics functions that require your display/monitor to be running at
32-bit color. Use the following steps to change your display to 32-bit color:
- Right-click your PC desktop and select Properties
from the context menu. This opens your Display Properties dialog.
- Click the Settings tab.
- Click the down arrow on color-quality and select 32-bit.
- Click OK and follow the onscreen prompts to complete the change.
Note: You may need to adjust the size and position of your new image using the controls on your monitor.
If you do not see 32-bit as an available option on your PC, you may need to upgrade your video/display hardware.
Consult your PC manufacturer.
Difficulty removing Smoooth or stopping the end-of-trial notice
The problem occurs when the user attempts to Uninstall the program while it is still running.
- Press Ctrl-Alt-Del to open Windows Task Manager.
- Click the Processes tab.
- Find Smoooth on the Processes list.
- Highlight Smoooth, and click End Process.
- Close the Windows Task Manager.
- Click your Start button and select Programs.
- Find the Smoooth DBA program group and select Uninstall my Program.
- In the rare case that Uninstall is not able to remove the files, continue with
the following steps
- Right-click your Start button and select Explore.
- Navigate to your Program Files folder and find the Smoooth DBA folder.
- Delete the Smoooth DBA folder.
- Click your Start button then All Programs.
- Find your Startup folder and check to see if there is a Smoooth shortcut in the folder.
- Delete the Smoooth shortcut if present.
